Minor note: SE are dropping Fr/Ge support, I thusly haven't included those in this update as SE themselves have given up on those files.

so i downloaded latest ffxi view that Caradog posted today.  i overwrote the files like i do with every update while logged out of game, and nothing seems to take effect on the ui except font had changed. i have redownloaded from both mirrors and same result.  

Which version you using? Widescreen/Normal and which language do you play the game in?

i use widscreen version on NA english client

Having a hard time finding the issue, seems to work as expected on my end.

Have you tried using Pol to file check and remove the changes -> Installing the Xi View Rom folder?

ill try that out, someone in my ls said they just installed it and works fine for them so must be on my end. ill report back after i run a check file and reinstall ffxi view.

Works like a charm again.  And mog wardrobe no longer crashes me. Thanks for your dedication to this particular effort Caradog. We do appreciate it ^^v

ok pulled a derp moment there. was coping/ overwriting files to the ffxi test client folder instead of the actual game. so all works well sorry for the confusion

Updated first post. Glad to see this keeps being made. Without it.. would be awkward those old icons lol.

Glancing over whats been changed, I can say with some certainty that Xi View will break - a lot and strongly suggest not using it till I have a chance to update it this evening/tomorrow morning.

Not to step on anyone's toes, because Caradog is doing a great job! I've taken a few breaks but I am still playing casually. I wanted to say that I always kinda disliked how when I updated XI View I had to always create a new download. Fast forward to newer and better things like Github, I've been messing around with this for personal use and find it to be great. So for me I like to update my own files, just something I like messing around with. Anyways, through Github you'll always know when these files are up to date just by seeing the the date they were added or edited. I know SE is dropping French and German support so those will no longer be relavent. And the difference between 4:3 and 6:9 is the icon next to your character name so I won't update a 4:3 version.

But, if all your after is Status Icons and the WS version of the UI for US version only. My Github will be up to date and the link will never change.

On the right side you'll see "Download Zip"

When extracted it will keep the folder branch of ROM/119/51 and 57.DAT so it's easy to copy over the dats.

Or through that link you can click through the folder branches and click 51.dat and 57.dat and download the files seperatly by clicking RAW.

These 2 files are what I always currently use when I play so I know that they work, and this just gives another option for people looking for a quick fix after an update.

Current there's an issue with the JP UI dat, I've included the status icons but the UI adjustments for the JP client isn't included until I can fix it.
