On another note: Afaik, the patch didn't add anything that'd bork Xi View, currently running it without an issue, if anyone has any problems drop me a msg

Here's an updated Icon Changer.  I added a menu option that should hopefully allow you to edit the 16x16 icons.  Let me know if you run into any trouble.  As usual, when you modify the icons, make sure they're 32bit with transparency or they won't work.

May I request custom icons for:

Vallation, Valiance (even the same would work for these), Inspiration, Battuta, Foil.

All RUN stuff.

Currently Vallation/Valiance use the same "buff up" boring icon.

Inspiration uses the Haste icon, making it hard to tell if you're missing haste sometimes, at first glance.

Battuta and Foil too use the same "buff up" icon I think?

Vallation/Valiance are basically the same thing but mutually exclusive, one is AoE the other is just for yourself.

They're all RUN abilities.

When I updated XI View, I lost access to my merits section, how do I get that back?

@Akumasama - I'll take a look when I create the next version of Xi View, will probably just be swaps around but I'll see what I can do to customise stuff up a bit.

@Stillmatic - You're probably using an old version of Xi View, firstly run a file check to remove it (from the Pol Viewer before login, ensuring you're checking FFXI not Pol itself), and then download the latest version of Xi View which is v2.12

I ran the file check and then updated to the newest version of XI View and now everything is working perfectly again. Thanks a ton Caradog.

I'm gonna leave this here, but I'm sure some people are gonna do it anyway.  If you reinstall XI View V2.12, you will not be able to see the "mog wardrobe" tab. Please wait patiently for a fix.  Thanks in advance to Caradogg or whoever gives us a fix!

edit: I also used the icon changer to compare my original 57.dat from 2.12 to the one that just downloaded today, and it's telling me that icons 579 and 580 are different, if that helps any.

I'd definitely advise against installing v2.12 with the UI adjustments, I know it won't work.

hey caradog, is it possible to purely just install the dats for the icons and not adjust any of the UI stuff. i play multiple toons and one is my bard. love the icons for bard buffs and was just hopin ther was a way to at least have just the icons. pls let me know if its possible. thanks

I did this for me (because I can't stand BRD without color-coded songs either lol) but I'll link it here to make lives easier til Caradogg uploads an official one. https://www.dropbox....p/ROM-119-57.7z This is the dat icons file from V2.12 to which I added icons 579 (some capacity points buff) and 580 (some haste-like buff). You could install the old one, but if you ended up with one of these buffs it'd just show up as a "DEBUG" thing, I think.

The new version will be released tomorrow, as for whether its possible to just get the icons.

This is the dat file responsible for icons, you could just install this on its own, you won't get any of the UI changes and there'll be a small issue with the two new icons they added, other than that it should be fine.

(Some new haste buff and a dedication-esque effect for Capacity points - they'll just appear as "Debug" icons)

Just reactivated. I'll be looking at this later. XIV is a little boring when you only cap sol and run coil static 3 days a week.

Mog Wardrobe is not showing up after putting back in xi view 2.12 any fixes for this guys?
