    Ok so that file is everything FFXI including all SoA maps in one? (Before I start adding it to the main post) =)

      Just thought I would peek in here, with all the new stuff, I noticed that some patches awhile back seem to have replaced some map dats. Not sure why. But anyways, any news on this front anyone has info on or news on whats going on other then ap radar?

        Still need the Outer Ra'kaznar maps.

        Old adoulin ones would need updating too (exits to new zones, updated positions of reives, HP crystals, reives, logging/mining/harvesting points, lost articles etc) but they're still okayish and better than nothing.

         

        Brehanin produced new maps for Adoulin. Created the Ra'kaznar ones and updated (mostly?) the old ones

        Asked him if he can convert them into .dat format but he says he's never done it before. He's willing to if anybody teaches him how.

            Thanks Rgtheone, now to see if someone confirms its all good, then to get that all on the OP.

             

            I am surprised tho more people dont talk about maps as much as we do the status icons and UI.. I mean is everyone ap radar or ffassisting or what?

                  Is there a new version for the Yorcia Map? Coordinates are all off and theres a "transparent" part of the map on the top.

                  I talked to Darkshade a while back and I was working on some of my own maps. I started with East and West Sarutabaruta but I couldn't get those working without some hex editing, so my work kinda stopped there.

                   

                  I got back into FFXI recently and knew it was way easier to update maps that weren't part of the original FFXI release, so I browsed some of the Seekers of Adoulin maps. I enjoy making my own versions so I took all of the info on several maps and consolidated everything with my own artistic spin.

                   

                  I've only completed 3 maps for SoA so far. They're under my original project named "Vana'diel Surveyor Map Pack" which I have on my imgur here. I haven't been to any of the SoA areas yet, so I don't know what information I've included is still relevant. I just figured it'd be easier to work on areas people still spend time in.

                    Wow, some of the best maps I've seen in a while.

                    They really are in dat format? If the coordinates aren't off then it's gonna be awesome.

                    No real input I can add for those 3 maps, at least at first glance, altough if I were you I would probably have started from other maps.

                    The last "gates" area (the one close to Kamihr), then Kamihr Drifts and Outer Ra'kaznar are the "worst" maps of the ones already released, as far as updated stuff (no lost articles, no mining points, several stuff missing) etc.

                    Then there's the Yorcia one which is bugged (was released when there was an internal coordinates bug within the FFXI map, but that was fixed by SE whereas the .dat map didn't, so the coordinates are all off now).

                    Could use some updates for Marjami but that's overall good.

                     

                    Anyway, I'm really really really really loving these maps you're doing. Hope you'll manage to complete your project adding all SoA maps ;)

                    Thanks for the feedback, that was very informative!

                    They are all in .DAT already. I was hoping someone could test them out for me. I want these to be as accurate as possible.

                    I'll do the first two areas you mentioned next. I had no idea there were so many partial and incomplete maps. I guess I picked the right area to start.

                    I do plan on finishing all of the maps for SoA, so I'll update my imgur and Dropbox as soon as more are added.

                    Kamihr Drifts is done for now. It was a lot of work to add in all of the unmarked terrain, but there are missing components that I require some help figuring out.

                     

                    The map I am referencing here lists a Geomagnetic Reservoir in the key but does not have one on the map. Is there one here, and if so where is it located? Also, there are some lost articles and harvesting points there I believe, but I cannot find any maps with their locations. If anyone has any spare time to help get me the exact locations and mark them on a map for me, send it my way! It would be greatly appreciated! The map will be updated later with the rest of the info once I get it.

                      It's surprising you're not getting any more feedback considering how awesome your maps are.

                      I just installed your new package, hope I'll be able to test them asap and provide feedback where necessary.

                          I could not find a fairly acurate map of Yorcia Weald so i decided to map out the path as accurate as i could. I tried adding in icons etc but when i added it to the DAT it looked horrible. 

                           

                          anyways here is the very accurate map of Yorcia Weald without icons ect. Could somone add in the icons to make it complete?

                              I finally figured out how to .dat maps. I hadn't seen Inner Ra'Kaznar yet, so here it is. I haven't tested it in game (because who even goes to that zone?), but it opens in AltanaView. Feel free to add it to the master file if it's acceptable.

                                I know that I have been away for a while. Life has become too busy to maintain ApRadar anymore. I have canceled all active subscriptions so that you will not be re-billed and I have released the ApRarad source on GitHub http://github.com/bhmahler/ApRadar

                                It has been a pleasure to have worked on this project for so many years and I am thankful to all of my subscribers for their support along the way. All existing pro subscriptions are active and the codebase on github does not require validation to enable the pro features.

                                Just FYI.  On a side note: Does the windower HUD mini map work?  Haven't tried anything new for a couple months waiting for AP Radar to get updated.
