NOTE: Please note that some mob families aren't displayed on the new Scars of Abyssea maps such as the Smilodons in Vunkerl or the Dragons in Attowa because they have unusual/timed pop patterns and weren't currently spawned when I was originally mapping the areas. At some point when all mob groups are discovered I will re-update these maps both for in game use and radar programs.

No clue, tbh I dont think those people even know they dont have a windower account right now. I just got lucky when I checked over here on the 1st day of the new forum. All I know is, Ill be updating the thread as people post up stuff best I can.

What about the old thread needs to be "ported" over? Why not use this as a clean break and make a nice new thread?

Porting over always helps, I mean once the orig posters get their butts back here, since obviously I am not the OP or the dat editor myself heh. Hard to keep updating on my own I just track these since I always look for new stuff. ^^ That and everyone uses em.

Ohhhh. Well yeah, having the actual author do it would help a lot!

Personally, I'd like to get a better dat mod community organized within windower. I know we've had a lot of ideas tossed around, but something that would make windower the "go to" to install stuff like this....

Silly question, how come my maps with apradar are always labeled but some maps in game aren't labeled?  I have installed the map pack for the game and most maps are labeled but sometimes I run into a zone that isn't labeled.

Is it a new zone? Maybe labeled maps just don't exist for those yet, or the map pack you installed didn't have them yet. Otherwise I can't really explain it.

Ya I think it was Yhase Hunting Grounds.  The apradar map was labeled but the map pack for the game wasn't.  I don't know how these things work for the game, I just know if I was building an application I'd use the same map at different sizes between the 2.

Apradar has a different source for maps. The ones we use "here" for dats are ones that people put together, maybe edited another here and there, and then just tossed into the community collection, and once one was made, no one re-edited it, since its a different process to make a .dat file then it was to make a file apradar used.

Anyone can make thoes as DATs?

Wouldnt mind some updated maps myself. Seems Ap radar is the more ideal way to go for some map edits. Wouldnt mind those being in game heh.

Created an account just now simply to say Thank You! to everyone trying to keep this accessible and up to date, from the files themselves to this forum thread. Thank you guys! I'm sure I speak for many.

Ok, I see people updating SoA maps, which is great, however is everyone making their own versions or just stuff that was missing. Starting to wonder if we could get screenshots of peoples update somehow, that or if someone wants to make a master update file with some details on whats included. Since SoA came out... kinda got lost myself in what I have and dont. So I am sure others have the same issue.
