Hello- Seem to be having this problem again. Game crashes randomly as I zone. I've copied and pasted a link for the dumpfile, any help would be appreciated.

Windower seems to crash on a more frequent basis with zone change no longer being the only instances when it does crash.

Crashes seem more frequent with the latest update:

Unfortunately that crash dump doesn't completely tell us what's wrong, only that it happens on the incoming chunk event, which means it's very likely an addon causing it. I cannot say which one at this point, can you list which ones you are using, then I can try to narrow it down.

Hi Arcon- Thank you for the response. I use the following Addons:

                -aecho

                -autoinvite

                -autojoin

                -gearswap

                -scoreboard

                -shortcuts

                -silence

                -timestamp

                -tparty

                -update

                -Zonetimer

Of those it can only be AutoJoin or GearSwap, or both. I know it sucks saying that you should play without GS for a while, so see if it happens without AJ first, if it does, then it's very likely GS. But since it doesn't happen to many other players, it could well be something in your file. While crashing shouldn't happen and it's a bug in LuaCore regardless, it would be great to know what causes it.

Now that I think about it... do you unregister events when changing GS files (i.e. change jobs)?

I'll give autojoin a try and keep you posted.

Could you explain a bit futher as to what you mean by unregister events when changing GS files?

We're aware of a certain bug inside LuaCore that results in the Lua stack falling below zero, which is a bad thing and can result in crashes. We've noticed it happening when you try to unregister events in your GearSwap files while unloading them. Can you pastebin the files you use with GearSwap? So we can verify if that could be causing the issue.

Sent you a private msg but also a quick update: Tried zoning a few times with gearswap and autojoin both unloaded at separate instances and unfortunately did not remedy the problem. Dump file below (not sure if it'll help):

That's strange... can you try without any addons then and give me a crash dump if it still crashes?

Also, looks like I won't need your GS files after all, since GS does not seem to be the issue.

Went down the list of addons and unloaded one by one and I kept getting crashes. Unloaded all and tried zoning a few times again and got a crash. Dump below:

There's nothing related to Windower at the crash site in that dump. This doesn't mean it isn't indirectly caused by Windower, but I would just like to verify. Does this happen without Windower?

Please try to reproduce the crash without Windower, just to narrow down the source of the crash.

Iryuoku- I'm gonna try reinstalling. If the crash continues to occur I'll try to zone w/o windower. I'll keep you/community posted.
