XI View V2.2.1 (Sept, 1, 2017) - [USER INTERFACE]

If you run the old version you could possibly crash yes due to changes in the menu. 2 new status icons were added from SMN. I've updated mine but haven't yet posted it on my github. I want to run it on my pc overnight due to the big update to chat. Long as i have no issues I'll release it tomorrow.

Even prior to to editing my xi view files i have these weird hiccups in chat when you hit the + on the number pad to scroll through different chat tabs and scroll up the chat log. It will sometime not respond and stop. Like I said unrelated to xiview, but not sure if others seen this to.

Well, the UI has changed. We've got a new page under job points to look at gifts, and avg Ilvl+SU x in the status screen. Fair bet that'll cause issues. No new buff Icons that I know of, but I haven't gone through the dats either.

There are at least 2 new buffs from SMN (cure pot taken+, TPbonus+) but I don't know if they have a generic icon or a specific, new one.

I'm sure the newest XIview will be coming soon, just was curious while waiting is there a way to import the status icons while changes to the menus,etc are ongoing?  The generic attack boost icon from SE is just driving me crazy when I can't tell what it actually is ^^

Ugly UI drove me nuts so I went and learned how to do this myself. The 2 new smn buffs were quickly thrown together so they might not look great. Mostly graphics/icons from Wildman's stuff and using some tools from Caradog so thanks to both of them for their work! Haven't noticed any issues yet but if you do I can look into it.

Heh Heh Heh, Pretty soon we will have Caradog vs Wildman! I still wish there was a way to allow Windower to auto update the files.. I wonder if there is a way to make the addon just download the dats and put them in a folder that isnt linked to FFXI. Just would be a matter of copy paste.

This was something we were considering, actually. I don't want to make any promises, but there's a good chance such a thing will be possible in the future.

Was some talk about developing something to divert the .dat calls a while back, in order to allow for more ease of customisation, not sure what happened to that entirely.

Edit: I'm a noob. Is there a way to change just the targeting cursor? I quite like the one that changes with the ROM>119 folder, but I only want to change the status icons and cursor and not the menus or fonts...

It is possible but requires use of the program changetex to alter individual dats

Is there any way we can get a window theme similar to the black one (#6) but without any transparency?
