I was only using the status icons. At first I assumed it was something else, like spellcast, but I tried unloading everything and it was still happening. The crashes were only whenever I would be getting a status icon, so I figured it had to be that. Then I got my friend to send me her status icon file, and it stopped happening. But no, I didn't see the Download Zip option on the side, I just went to the particular dat for the status icons. I'll try that.

Edit: Yeah, that worked. Sorry for the confusion.

I wanted to register on this site to thank all the people still involved in updating XI View for all of us to enjoy. I like many people just cannot play FF11 anymore without it. So Mad PROPS! out to you all for continuing to update and share this mod.

That's strange for sure , but glad you got it working

To make it maybe a little easier for everyone. When you go to my Github under XI View there is a "release" button/tab you can click on. In there you will see update notes and the current version there as a zip download labelled: "Source code (zip)". Just another option to download this as a zip if your having trouble.

I think the WS icon set got placed into the 4:3 set. Everything looks really squished.

The ws icons (if you mean the menu bar icons) are universal, they don't change from 4:3 to 16:9 (in fact SE doesn't change the files at all for any aspect ratio, we just make minor alterations).

Could your aspect ratio be out on your end?

Just pulled the dds for the name line icons out of the 4:3 folder, looks normal to me, are you using my version or Wildman's?

Also what version of Xi View are you using?

I figured out what I did wrong. I tried to install the icon while signed in. Signed out copied the 4:3 icons again and I got the right icons.

XI View is broken again because of Nov. update >.<

Yea I just got in from work, I haven't read the patch notes yet or downloaded the update but I'll take a look.

Fix will be released later this week, perhaps the weekend depending on how work goes.

Yes, 100%!! lol

It would for the NA side at least. I would stop playing most likely in the first week. Might sound brat~ish but these mods are so good and windower is what vanilla FFXI should be.

I can tell you I don't even want to play with these ugly fonts right now lol..  hope update comes before weekend.
