Hi, I'm having some weird issues starting up windower since yesterday's maintenance.  I play with multiple characters on a multiple monitor setup.  At some point after the maintenance yesterday, even with having an active account playing, windower starts crashing on startup.  The EXE file in the windower4 folder disappears.  I've been reinstalling windower in order to retrieve EXE file.  This happens everytime.

After some late night troubleshooting, I found out if I "block all network traffic via Norton firewall" I can get past windower startup and into POL login screen.  I would then, obviously, have to "Unblock traffic via Norton firewall" in order to login.  This works every time.  However, if windower crashes and i have to relog one of my characters, I have to logout all my characters in order to repeat the previous step in order to get past windower startup again.

Here is my crash log (I believe):

That's a problem that we cannot solve, because Norton perceives Windower as a threat. You have to adjust it on your end. Either mark Windower as an exception or switch your firewall software.

I have already tried that.  I've already given windower permission via Nortons.  So, technically I dont think Nortons has anything to do with this error.  I can completely remove Nortons and this would still occur.  I'm only using nortons to BLOCK ALL TRAFFIC in order to get windower to get past start up.  Any ideas?  If iremove Nortons...I'd have to BLOCK TRAFFIC via Windows Firewall...

Nm you're right it just uninstalled Nortons and Windower was getting past startup.  Thank you.  But why out of nowhere Norton's affecting windower?  I've had Nortons on this PC for a long time?

I really don't know, you're not the first one to report this. Lately Norton has been more aggressive about Windower for some reason unknown to us.
