      Hey everyone!

I recently started using GearSwap and it's really amazing. It works great! Now I'm wondering if it's possible to create an addon based on the GearCollector plugin which collects gear based on the item sets in Spellcast.

Is it possible to make an addon that does the same with GearSwap? It's so annoying when you have to collect new gear all the time switching between jobs. Some night I go from WHM to BRD to NIN to THF to BLM and it always takes about 10-15min depending on how fast I can find every piece. Having an organized inventory is sometimes tough, esp. with a tight schedule.

It would be really cool to have the program store gear in defined bags. Like THF stored in Satchel, WHM stored in Mog Sack etc. But perhaps this is to advanced.

Let me hear your thoughts ^^

There is a function in GS to export fake Spellcast XMLs for you. It was discussed to implement this before, but it's a lot harder than it seems, so this might be the only thing you can do for now.

All right, so I will just have to create empy spellcast xmls with the different sets and use that with gearcollector? Seems fairly easy to manage. :)

        Thanks for the reply!

Just use //gs export sets xml
Then copy/rename the file in your gearswap/data/export folder over to your spellcast folder.

Nice!! That worked great. I will try the GearCollector plugin tonight. Thanks again for the replies.

Thanks Byrth for the awesome addons you're developing. GearSwap works like a charm. I can finally use my sets to the fullest potential. Great work!!
