Hello everyone,
we wanted to let you know that this official Windower forum will be shutting down soon. We are in the middle of migrating servers, and keeping these forums alive would cost us either a lot of time or a little less time and quite a bit of money. So we decided to see how people felt about keeping these boards by starting a poll. As a result of the vote (and the total vote turnout) we decided that putting that the effort required into setting up and maintaining a new forum of our own was not worth it anymore.
As for a replacement, there is our Discord server for immediate chat, and we decided on the FFXIAH forums for our discussion board replacement.
For many years now we had a subsection of the FFXIAH forums to ourselves. Its much higher visibility and integration into the rest of the community makes it a primary choice for moving over our "official" badge to their site. In addition to all of that we're friendly with their lead developer (and have historically been on good terms with their developer team), who also mentioned he'll give us what we need for the transition.
As for archiving, we have plans to back this forum up, but we'll need a while to display that backup properly on our new server. We will present it as a static archive once that's done though, so older posts can still be browsed.
