I saw a similar (old) post for this but it was Win 8 and I'm still running Win 7.

Windower scripts aren't doing anything in-game. Though it has been over a year, nothing has changed since the last time I used them.

I've tried typing /console exec 'whm/cure' in the text box and in the console. - I get no error message and nothing happens in-game

I can confirm if I mispell a filename or location, it does error in the console - file not found.

I can also confirm the exec is actually running the script -- I made a very long script and after nothing happened I tried to move the file and windows told me the file is in use.

So the command (exec) is finding the file and running it, but the script is not doing anything in-game.

I've reinstalled FFXI, I've re-downloaded & reinstalled Windower, I've made brand new scripts and tested in scripts & subfolders both.

I assume normally /console exec sends the script straight to POL? Is there somewhere I can view/edit the location the console sends these scripts? As far as I can tell, that appears the be the issue.

Yeah I've tried to type just about everything. If I type something wrong the console does give me an error, but if I type it in the correct format nothing happens at all. As I mentioned, the console finds and runs the scripts, the lines just don't seem to be getting to the game.
