      Hi all,

I'm currently trying to create two verrry short Voidwatch scripts, and one of my friends who knows LUA was having trouble debugging them. I'm still learning LUA myself, but I hope this section is the correct place to ask. I have 3 scripts posted in the link below.

      http://pastebin.com/hYpqsR4h

Script #1 is one that works and needs no fixing--it is an LUA that makes it so I can talk to a voidwatch officer and get 12 rubicund cells every time. I put it there for reference to something that does work.

Script #2 is one I modified from script #1 according to something I found online: Replaced NPC name with Ardrick, then inputted the below, where XX is the number of Phase Displacers you can ask for (up to 5):

      "org:sub(1,8)..string.char(1,0,XX,0)..org:sub(13)"

I tried a lot of different numbers, even 05 and 5, for the third slot, 1 and 0 for the first slot...changed the other values too...nothing ever worked.

Script #3 is a novel script I'm trying to make that goes through the menus of the Planar Rift (after I've traded it my cell/phase displacers). I'd like it to pop my mob as soon as I exit, just like how I'd receive cells or phase displacers when I exit those NPCs' menus. Can't get anything to work here. Any ideas, guidance?

I tried not to just dump two scripts on the community for others to figure out/debug, but I gave it my best shot T_T. Really appreciate the time of anyone who can help.

As a quick heads up, you shouldn't use trial and error to figure out a problem involving outgoing packets. You've probably been sending bad packets, which won't get you instantly banned but isn't a great practice.
