10/7/2013 update and itemizer (just to let you know)

Best Answer Byrth , 10 October 2013 - 09:42 PM

There were two more minor fixes after 7:30 AM EST (to Timers and LuaCore), but by and large everything should be working again.

The inventory structure has changed, so all plugins that use the inventory are currently broken. We're working on a fix right now.

There is also a fatal error occuring with spellcast.. is this from the same problem?

"Error: Access violation in Outgoing text method."

"CRITICAL ERROR: Failed to find IsInCombat"

A lot of stuff is broken. XI View doesn't allow you to access the new 'Mog Case' button or the new 'Delivery Box' options. I'm currently replacing that .DAT mod on my other PC. Hopefully that gets fixed, can't stand SE's interface graphics.

Yes, I totally agree, but I'll also add:

I can't get any LUA (add-on) to work.  When the LUA subsystem tries to initalize on our two PCs (Dell L502X laptop and Dell System 390 workstation both on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate), we see failure to initialize message.  I think also an addressing exception went by, too.  NOTE:  When I do a "lua m" nothing shows up and normally I have 8 add-ons loaded.

I do miss the Findall add-on.

A few of the LUA addons work for a short while but then it crashes eventually with an error about LUA core failing.  Oddly it's not producing an error log.  For now I'd turn off LUA addons and Spellcast until there's a fix for them.
