Just reinstalled.

I unchecked the box for send data, but when I look at my TCP connection I have a bunch of connections going to ood.opsource.net?

I did unloadall and the connections are still happening.

Does the check box not work?

Well after doing a bunch of research myself. ood.opsource.net has something to do with adobe activations.  But I don't know why it would be coming up when running windower?

Any idea? maybe I have virus or something.  I don't have any adobe software but flash and reader installed on this computer.

I ran windower 3.4x and no connections to ood.opsource.net

When I run windower 4 I do get a bunch of connections to ood.opsource.net

I will also give a list off addon and plugins I'm using.   I did a full system scan of my computer with a few difference scanners and they found nothing.

I'm using process explorer and clicking on pol.exe and going to TCP view to see the list.

Nope.  Iryoku listed all of the sites windower connects to.  It's not us.

IPC opens a connection to your localhost.

When I start Windower 4, I get 3 TCP connections:

1) 204.232.175.90 - Github
2) 69.64.46.229 - Hosting Solutions International, Inc. (St. Louis) - going to this IP address gives the Windower forums
3) 74.125.228.62 - Google Analytics

ya it was my host file,  My hubby tried to install adobe music editing software and didn't tell me.  It's removed and all is good.
Cleaned the host file and it's a bunch of ewitt-pc:port to ewitt-pc:port.

The adobe comments sounds spot on. If you've pirated adobe photoshop before you have to do some registry hacks to make it point to your own computer instead of adobe's..

That being said, Windower 3.4 didn't do any network calls when it launched. It was just a program that hooked FFXI. Windower 4 is an all encompassing solution, so it is firing out. It could, for example, be firing network calls to one of the three servers, which respond to "localhost" and you have your localhost set to adobe stuff.

I'm not a networking guy, so I'm not going to figure out the TCP handshake but as they said, it's definitely not us calling any other servers. I would check your network host data and remove any adobe licensing things and see if it goes away (you can always add it back later).
