When I Use Items In-Game, My Character Model Changes (Glitch?)

Whenever I use an item in-game, my character model changes to a male Hume with no armor or weapons, which sometimes crashes my game entirely, and other times will literally be stuck like that until I zone no matter what I do. It's particularly frustrating because as Ranger I can't tell when the character model is shooting or just standing there because it's the same animation, so I have to use the chat log to figure out when I can shoot again, which is difficult and annoying.

This has been going on since before the most recent update. But now, since the update, it has gotten worse, and I also crash very often for seemingly no reason. 

Unload blinkmenot and/or plasticsurgeon plugins, you can replace them both with DressUp addon.
