      Heya!

Is there a method of setting multiple 'profiles' with unique positions using Wincontrol? I've been utilizing Wincontrol for ages though I'm beginning to multi-box more frequently. Consequently, auto-positioning each character to one's own preference would be a fantastic convenience. Is this feasible with the plugin or perhaps possible in the future with Windower? The only alternative I know of at the moment is to set up 5 other Windower installations to different locations

I'm aware the 'other' client program is capable of this. Although aside from this one minor attribute, Windower undeniably outclasses it in every way, especially in support. No I'm not trying to kiss ass it's just the truth of the matter lol

Thanks for your time and help :)

I use the Autoexec plugin with login_<char name> entries that are set to only run once. The entries execute wincontrol to set them to the positions I want.

Built-in core support for this was always planned. In fact, work was actually done to make this possible for the original Windower 4 release, but it kept getting sidelined by more important work. I'm a multi-monitor user myself, and I really wanted to make this happen, but I just never had time.

For now you can use Autoexec and WinControl to get per-character window positioning.

Sounds good, if it works then that's all that matters

            Thanks for the help!

For anyone else that wants something similar just modify your autoexec file to your own preference.

            <register event="login_char1">wincontrol move 50 50</register>
            <register event="login_char2">wincontrol move 50 150</register>
