This should all be fixed. Note that some plugins were removed and replaced with their addon counterparts.

Yea after the update windower would load but then about 5 minutes into game it would crash and wondower would shut down and when i would load plugins it would say files not found granted i havent been on game in a few hours. The game would work fine just no windower, just another heads up thanks if you fixed it

Consolebg and logger are crashing do to "incoming chunk method" and I see no addon counterpart. Although being forced to use addons instead of plugins makes me sadface because I can't autoload any addons without it causing windower problems, but that has been an ongoing issue since the start for me and didn't matter since there used to be an alternative.

Check again, they should both be available as addons now. This is my first time hearing that addons are having trouble auto-loading. What about it isn't working? If you report the bug we may be able to fix it, I wasn't aware of it until now, since no one else complained.

I've had consistent problems with addons crashing windower if I set them to autoload. But since I'm multi-boxing on an iMac running a bootcamp install of XP and my windower install is inside my pol folder, I figured I was asking for it. That aside, as a workaround I simply used a txt file that loads all my addons. I saved the file in the windower/scripts folder. You can name it whatever you like, I'm using load_addons.txt for this example. All it has in it is this:
lua l addon1 wait .5; lua l addon2 wait .5; lua l addon3 //etc, etc...
After I'm logged in I load it either from the chatline: //exec load_addons.txt or from the console: exec load_addons.txt. I very rarely get a crash with this method.
Unless your system is a mess like mine it would be helpful if you'd submit a bug report.
**note** I have another (less powerful system) running win7 that doesn't crash with addon auto-loading.

It's only on incoming messages, and that has been fixed. What LuaCore version are you using?

luacore.dll 1.8.3.3

Awesome. The red is hard to read without a background. And it wasn't really a complaint more so than I think a more individual issue with my system that took a while to figure out it was the autoloading of addons that would bug out windower. It also happens very randomly (or it's just that I rarely logout anyway) and more prone to occuring 80% of the time on the second window when dualboxing. What happens is windower seems to get stuck on the autoload, never finishing the list which is noticable with init.txt not loading. Things generally seem fine unless I go to unload an addon or plugin and it will CTD. I've mentioned it to Wildman before in game and he also had no idea what the issue was (but did help with reminding that init.txt can be loaded with /console exec). Last month I randomly tried with only autoloading plugins since I noticed it seemed to hang on addons, and hasn't been an issue since. The only addons I ever had on autoload are autojoin and treasury, which I currently manually load without any issues.
I do know with at least one person in my LS that also sometimes experiences a hang in loading, but apparently for him it just finishes a few minutes later and doesn't cause problems. So I think the issue of the autoloading causing problems is pretty isolated.

The front page of the forum
Or the FFXIAH forum^^ Or here:
So, to avoid starting a new topic, I figured I'd use this one since it's somewhat similar. Apparently, the Last update done within the last 24 hours broke the plugins downloads. It uninstalled all my plugins, removing even the ones that weren't replaced like Timers, and now crashes every time I try to redownload them.
Also, please keep plasticsurgeon, because I can't get dressup to work

Pointwatch sucks compared to Attainment.
Where's all the Aby lights & time remaining info? That's still relevant information.

Eh, sorry for the sour grapes.
What it does do, it seems to do well, and it's not like it's crashing the game (the way Answering Machine does).
The plug-in is workable, just missing some pretty important info, especially for those of us returning to the game.
