I noticed that when using Plugin_Manager to load addons/plugins that if the game variables for them are set in init.txt that they don't take effect when Plugin_Manager loads them.  It's not until I use the command //exec init.txt that all the game variables for stuff like DrawDistance takes effect.  Is there a way this can be worked around?

I also noticed that lighting effects don't take place either until init.txt is manually loaded via command, however keybinds work fine without having to reload the script.

Use the addon's or plugin's settings file. If the it doesn't have a settings file then there's nothing you can do. They aren't variables, they're commands. If the addon or plugin isn't loaded to receive the commands then Windower just ignores them.

Lighting effects should work fine at that point, I don't think they're overwritten once logged in. Also, there's a new plugin called Config, which supersedes DrawDistance in functionality and allows setting the clipping distance via a settings file.

Oh right, I'll look at the new plugin.

I don't know why the lighting effects are being ignored when everything else (except the game commands) works.  I resorted to setting those addons active rather than through Plugin_Manager since all my characters use those ones.
