Everything Crashes Windower

Hey im having the problem that when I open anything else like (Cupper, Cure Please, My Project) those things crash windower. I just did a fresh install of everything and newly installed windows 8 and before I didn't have this problem. I turned off the UAC and run windower as an administrator. Any other ideas as to why this is happening?

I am currently on windows 8.1 64bit

So its a problem with my FFACE?
And on another note now my program is crashing again, on the transition from POL to ffxi. What I did notice that I did was update my drivers Nvidia Geforce 740 - 340. beta. I did this last night and try to play today and this crash occurs again. Hope this jnfo helped somewhat.

The Windows 8 crash will definitely not be fixed anytime soon. Maybe never on Windower 4.
