Limited Sound

Unlike the other versions. 4 doesn't have the maxsounds option and as such about half of the ingame sounds I don't hear.

I'm assuming this is my issue. When things get busy many sounds are omitted.

Try to set it with the FFXI config utility. Launcher doesn't affect it (we think).

I have it @ max sounds in the normal config and I still get plenty of silent things ingame from menu clicks to weapon skills.

Then that's not WIndower related I'm afraid. If it's max in the normal config that means Windower didn't mess with it.
