It always load the addon twice...with one working. The other load of gametime displays a bar of info that is just wrong and doesn't update as time goes by. Anyone familiar with a way to unload both and then reload it? Can't stand it loading twice...just thought I'd ask and see if anyone else had noticed?
EDIT: I feel like I reported this issue in the wrong spot? Could it be moved? Sorry ; ;

It can, but I'm not sure what you mean... how can you load an addon twice? You should not be able to do that.

I should have been more clear....the gametime addon loads at the FFXI main menu screen even before character selection. then once a character is selected, and the player logs in - it loads another instance of the addon.
This leaves with me one functioning correctly based on the instance of my character logged in. The other instance of gametime that started at the main menu does nothing. It is like a non-functioning duplicate.

That should be impossible, you can never have two instances of one addon loaded at the same time. Type //lua m, that should list all addons and their memory usage. Does GameTime appear twice in there?

Posting a screenshot - sorry for the 1080p
But as you can see, one version of gametime functions based on my character. The other loads at the title menu so it just does nothing. I hope you can get a better idea of what I meant at least

Ok, it actually doesn't load twice, it just creates two text boxes. I'll see if I can adjust that shortly.

Arcon, it is no rush...just wanted to bring it to the attention of everyone. It creates the first one at the title menu btw...if that helps at all.
Also, thank you for all the help. ^^

Hey, also...since it is doing the double thing right now...a quick work around is once you can bring up the console:
type: lua unload <addon>
then: lua load <addon>
This is a confirmed workaround! Hope this helps in the meantime. ^^

It creates a new text box on load and every time you log in. So if you reload it while already in the game, you can work around it. It's still a mistake and I'll try to fix it today.

Also, //lua reload <addon> is even faster, or just //lua r <addon>.

Checking now!
EDIT: Still having the same issue when it loads at the title screen, and the it loads another upon logging in with the selected character.

Was just thinking...when Windower4 automatically updates, could it have overwritten the original file I had replaced? If so, I'll test again...

That's possible. Can you log into POL (but not yet hit play) and then replace the file, to be sure?

Just curious if there was any resolution to this?

I just pushed something that should fix it. Can you try to update and load it, then let me know?

Gone on initial character selection screen, remnant with incorrect data remains during character switch, BUT, appears to refresh with correct data once you're on your character. I'd say that's fixed enough for me, I assume you added a reload line?
