RPC, isn't it time?

Hello,

'Love the IPC natively in Windower now.  How about implementing RPC so I can spread my characters across machines?

It's planned, the framework is in place, but I doubt it will be implemented in Windower 4.

Luasocket seems to have been added recently (not sure if it actually works though!), should be pretty straightforward to modify the 'send' addon for quick-n-dirty network operation.

You certainly could modify send to use LuaSocket, but as Arcon said, the functionality is already written into hook, it really just needs to be enabled, tested, and a UI needs to be written for it in launcher. We just don't have the man power to keep up with everything.
