Cancel doesn't work in macro?

The usual, using cancel for shadows.

Works fine if i type in //cancel 445 into the chat box, it will cancel correctly.

Will not work in a macro though no matter what i do even with just the command in it. Any idea where i am going wrong here?

Double slashes do not work in macros ever since SE patched FFXI (probably specifically to mess with Windower).

Fortunately // is just a shortcut for /console. Use "/console cancel 445" (without quotes) in your macro.

Also, try switching from the Cancel plugin to the Cancel addon, then you can use names instead of numbers.
