I just returned this week and have been using Windower 4. There are a few things I've noticed happening that I am not sure of the resolution:

      1) Why does my character's model keep changing to a long-haired Hume?

      2) Is there a way to hide the Windower confirmation text when you take a screenshot? I like to record cutscenes, and some provide some great screenshot material, but then the video records the red text confirming the screenshot

      3) What are the commands to load something I didn't have auto-loaded? For example, I don't have the minimap plugin autoload (due to the recording), but it'd be nice to load/unload it on the fly as needed.

      Thanks in advance!

        • I really thought we had finally sorted this out, but in any case it's caused by either the BlinkMeNot plugin, or the DressUp addon.
DressUp is newer and combines the functionality of BlinkMeNot and PlasticSurgeon. Do not load DressUp simultaniously with either.

        • //console_displayactivity 0

        • It depends on if you want to load a plugin (a compiled native c++ dll) or an addon (an interpreted lua script); for a plugin: //load plugin_name for an addon: //lua l addon_name.

Well, I disabled BlinkMeNot and it's still happening for some reason, mostly when I try to use Trusts. The other stuff seems to have been fixed now, though.

Are you using PlasticSurgeon or DressUp?

Not using either. And it actually looks like it happens even just sometimes when starting combat.

Under Addons, I have ChatLink, ConsoleBG, distance, findAll, itemizer, Logger, macrochanger, ohShi, plugin_manager, SATACast, shortcuts, Silence, thtracker, Treasury, and update toggled to On

Under Plugins, I have AutoExec, GearCollector, Guildwork, LightLuggage, SSOrganizer, and StatusTimer toggled to On.

I haven't actually configured anything, so everything above is in its default state.

Can you disable all plugins and see if it still happens?

Is there a command from in-game to do that, or should I edit init.txt in a certain way, or just uncheck everything in Windower's launch?

Sorry for the late response, but you can start Windower, go to POL, then (before you move from POL to FFXI) go to Windower/scripts/autoload/autoload.txt and delete every "load ..." line.
