battlemod ignoring filters

Addon appears to load properly and I get the modified combat text in chatlog, even get the message that it loaded THF or MNK or whatever filter file I have created for that job. Problem is it appears to 100% ignore any changes I have made in my config files. Doesnt matter what I do or do no filter, I always get the same set of events in chatlog. Even if I modify the default filters, it still does not follow the rules I have created. Any ideas?

You're probably modifying the filter files wrong. Try reading the comments.
