Gearswap not in windower?

hey people. had a couple of months out of the game. I have come back over the last week. I reinstalled windower / ffxi to my desktop pc and for some reason GS is not in the addons list? i load windower and i get the profile selection screen with the addon/plugins tab. GS isn't in either of them. i have my old LUA's still and i dont think i'd be playing again without GS as i am so ust to it now. any comments or advice that could be helpful to solve this issue?

I have tried to reinstall windower also.

Yes, it is. Download this file, place it in your Windower/updates/ folder and then extract it there. The next time you run Windower you should have up-to-date addons. I'm not sure why this is happening, but for some reason Windows XP has had trouble updating addons correctly as of two months ago.

okay that had made GS appear in the addons list however, it still does not want to work? =/ none of the lua's will load and windower does not recognise GS being an addon when logged in. it says it does not exsist.

When you click the download button in the Windower Launcher, does it download it? Can you check if GearSwap is in Windower/addons/GearSwap/? There should be a couple of Lua files in there if it installed correctly.
