I'm new to gear collector, didnt know it existed until like 2 days ago. when i switch to the job i have a spellcast file for, gearcollector isnt activating and none of the gear is taken out of my MH. is there a special file i have to load or something to get it to activate? i typed //load gearcollector and it said it was already loaded so no clue what to do after that.

DOH figured it out. didnt do the //gc job.

What I do is bind a key to do it.
bind !esc input /\/gc %job;

Just put that line in your init file below the other binds
