Tell notification

is there a addon or plugin that beaps when  get a tell or message?

ChatMon (plugin) can do that, however FFXI also supports that option itself, without Windower. You have to check the filter option on the menu, and most options toggle between "on" and "off", but some of them will switch to "off ♪", which means that it won't be filtered and you get a beep sound when it occurs. This works for all chat-related filters.

Is there a link to see how to control the Chatmon plugin?

You can open the Windower/plugins/ChatMon.xml file, there's a small explanation there. It's not hard to set up. If that file does not exist yet, try loading ChatMon once, it will then create it.

all my files are  .dll and wont allow me to oepen

ok it made a new file that i was  able to open but i dont see any commands there to set it up to change the sounds or the sound lvl

You where saying something about settings in FF do i need to change something there also?

ok i got i had the sound muted for the game thart was  causing tit to not ding thanks
