spellcast stop working?

im using windower 4

my xml works fine so far untill today i login... and it stop working.....

console error says:

Spellcast encounter a fatal error and must be terminated. Error: access violation OutgoingText Method.

anyone who why? ; ;

I also have the same issue "HOWEVER" ... i have an xml file that is character name for every job i have but before i merged to a solo file, i had an xml file for every job. the "job" xml file i tried worked fine. So somewhere in the "charname.xml" file something isnt getting read right or overlooked somehow. I'm not a programmer but this little bit of info might be useful, hopefully.

i stand corrected... it doesnt work. the only thing that does seem to work is swapping from a resting gearset to an idle set "city" only (so far just jeuno). Roabo or however its spelled doesnt work either.

ive been testing and it seams to only be with variables

mine happend every spells i casted related to spellcast trigers in my xml.

I did a quick check on your xml for validation and you have one error. Line 46 is an improper syntax for commenting.

is theres any way to stop windower auto updating every time on startup?

posibble to role back to older updates?

still dont explain y i cant access my skillup spellcast program its from internet aswell , it just has a major error and stops working

We cannot help you until you tell us what's wrong. As for the OutgoingText error it has been addressed and will be pushed to the live server soon.

as for the outgoing text fix still unloading spellcast i redownloaded the update like a minute ago  2.6.0.11

I got the current version (2.6.0.11) and it still isn't working. The rdm portion only did the enfeeble rule swap but didnt go to the idle set. Resting set did not trigger nor did the cure set. Soon as i did a cure, cursna, protect.....  spell test, it did the "outgoing text error spellcast will be unloaded".  Basically, it will do precast sets and totally ignore aftercast sets as if there is nothing there for those couple of times it does work. Sadly, i cant really do much in the game because everything is configured around spellcast. all of my prior macros that were based on text files are all gone.

I just wanted to add that I am getting the "Outgoing text error..." as well.  I just logged in, and Windower did an update to SpellCast, but it did not fix the issue.  

ok i did alot testing on this errors.

on my mule xml (mule.xml), because it will still run in some circumstances

my main char xml (main.xml) would not work at all.

all i got now is IF the spell cast is selected from the spell menu(ctrl +m) the error will occur!

if the spell cast from command (/ma cure <pc>) it will run without problems!

im not so good in programing, hope this helped out the dev!!

PS: did our crash dump any usefull? i though it did log the error for dev ><
