    I would like to add the "SkillChain" addon to my automatic list of loaded addons.  (Yeah, it really is a great addon.)  Yet, the following in the autoload file says:

    // !!! DO NOT EDIT !!!

    // ==========================================================================

    // This file is automatically generated. Any changes made to this file will

    // be overwritten the next time Windower is run.

    // Please use the Windower plugin manager to edit your plugin autoload

    // settings, and place any other initialization in scripts/init.txt.

    // ==========================================================================

    // !!! DO NOT EDIT !!!

    OK, I can't edit it and manually updating the SETTINGS.XML doesn't affect the autoload of Windower.

    From an official perspective, how do I get an user written addon or a yet released addon to automatically load?

    I thought of some ideas, but I'd like to do it the proper way not some method that might not work at some point.

    BTW, I created another thread whose title - after some reflection should be different.  Is there a way to update a thread's title?  I'm talking about the one concerning Voidwatch ... It should reflect the subject (not how I came up with the idea) of helping people sell stuff to NPC / stores.

    Thank you.

    P.S.  Presently, I'm using the init.txt file, but is it the best / official method?

      Yes, init.txt is really the only way to do what you want to do.
