I have decided that Windows 10 and my machine just doesn't like windower. I have watched the forums and see I'm not the only one. Well I fixed the problem for myself at least.
Partitioned off 150g on my Ter. HD, loaded windows 7pro (key cost me $25) as a second operating system, downloaded windower and ffxi to it.....all is well with the world, runs just like the old days prior to last July (2015).
