Menu Command Gearswapping

Im trying to figure out how to have it to where when i click on a spell or job ability manually, like going through the menus and actually activating the spell with enter, it will gear swap without having to pull up any macro books.  I saw someone doing this on youtube and for the life of me can not find the info on how to make it work and which addons/plugins i need to use it.  ive browsed the current topics but i am not finding any info on it.  please help

You're looking for the GearSwap addon. It doesn't do anything on its own though, you'll need to write a user script (or use one of the many pre-made ones people have posted) to tell it what you want it to do.

Motenten wrote a tutorial covering the basics, or you can find a bunch of pre-made scripts other users have written on the BG forums.

 mote did a good job can be a pain to fix if any thing gets messed up personally id go for a non mote one tho
