/sigh sorry for the post but after reading all the threads about this I have come to the conclusion that the password on the url from all the threads and url links arent working. If somebody can either PM me or post the current password and japanese file link I would be gratefull.

It's no longer the password because in the Japanese BBS system, once a thread reaches 1000 posts, it's automatically shutdown. The password was originally part of the link to the active thread (at the time). Since that thread is now shutdown, the thread's password is the current, and working one... unfortunately I do not know where it is. I'm trying to find it as we speak.

Maybe try to PM one of the people that have posted that it works and see or just use other programs out there to do what you want.

The following .ini is what I edited from Epical & Starlink's ffassist2.ini and humble's ffassist1.ini.

Things I've improved or copied from other people:
-using /send job use WHM,RDM no longer causes double Haste, Barfire, Barvira etc.
-added Blood Pact recast to recast timers. Works with minus BP equip
-the overwrites for the bard timers
-Epical's broken recast timers and Job Ability timers, due to the breaks in line.
-added the recasts for the new Merit JAbilities. Most should work now with the hotfix from the FFA2 author.
-added in the corsair timer (I don't have corsair activated to test it though)

Things I want to improve/fix and some things I observed or am experiencing:
-I don't think I will add in the COR, PUP, nor BLU JAtimers in the near future unless someone provides their code and I'll add them in here to benefit everyone else.
-I want Aerial Armor, Earthen Ward, and Noctoshield to overwrite both the RDM and WHM's blink, sskin, and phalanx accordingly. Main problem being that the ini file detects the Avatars and Players' abilities separately. So, eg."overwrite0=$1|Stoneskin" or "overwrite0=$1&Stoneskin" or anything similar doesn't work.
-I haven't added the phalanx Job timer in.
-Might want to move Hastega into it's own key. It has lower delay than Nocto and Shining Ruby. Need to find out exact delay.
-Job Timers for the 3 new jobs
-fix the PTmember status effect detect for WHM (I need some coding help on this :( {Please assist.})
-Urgh. The job timers for the new job abilities (Any good samaritans, please PM me how long these moves last)
-For some reason, my windower (after Ctrl-F2/disabling FFA2) tends to crash on exiting the game (/shutdown). Windower works normally on its own though. It's just a minor problem, since it doesn't interfere with gameplay. However, it gets irritating as I have to set gamma back to 50 before I /shutdown ffxi.

Things I didn't get to test out:
-Refresh. From what I edited, I can only assume that all refresh info is dumped into the Job Related log; and throw in Haste and you'll need at least 8 to 12 lines in the JAlog to monitor which pt member has Haste+Refresh. There's an an additional log window solely for Refresh. I didn't test it out because I don't have access to RDM (ok, I do, but it's a lowbie and I'm just too lazy to find a party member to test it out).
-Counter. Don't understand how it works.
-SemIcon (Utsusemi Icon) - True neenjahs dun need it :P

Things I removed (either from starting up or from the script body entirely):
-ExpCalc doesn't work for NA yet.
-The mob Time of Death section.
-Chat log output isn't on. Didn't bother testing it
-Sshot is off. You need to be on the FFA2 window to hit CTRL-F12, which makes the FFA2 window itself being in the screenshot itself. kinda defeats the purpose, don't you think? (applies to windowers)

Oh yea. this is the screenie for the window positions:

The mob alarms, Job timers and recast windows auto-closes with no activity. The expwatch window is off initially.

I use an in-game macro "/send dist off", "/send utsu off", /send map off" to switch off those 3 windows.

Please feedback on my coding.

It will take me a while to test the NA POL.

As usual, everytime I switch POL there's a complete file check involved.

If that's the case, and is the EU POL the one causing the problem, is going to be a right kerfuffle.

Bad news for now for EU POL users.

Is definitely a problem of the EU POL.

Now, how can you say "ffassist2 post b02 returns error (insert error here which I can't remember for the life of me now) when using it with the EU POL, can someone please look into it?" in japanese?

Coz I'm 100% percent sure that everyone else is blissfully unaware of any issues, being a localization problem, and the chances of it being sorted are null, unless it sorts out by itself.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to download the newest version of FFAssist2. Following Epical's directions to the download site I found the newest version: 6090. I entered in the correct password, got directed to the download page, and when I clicked on the blue underlined text to download the zip file, I found out that it was a dead link. :(

I checked the other topics of any mention of other similar problems, but to no avail. Therefore I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on this issue. I have also double checked all the instructions Epical gave, and tried entering the download site again and again, but it still did not work. :(

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me on this ^^;
