I am having a couple problems running windower. I have not been able to find solutions to my problems in the forums.
My first is when I launch the GUI and hit the launch button I get an error that says

The registry key does not exist

At this point I hit OK and windower continues to launch.

The second is when I hit the play button and pol closes and ffxi launches. I get the error

Playonline viewer has stopped working. Then windows closes the program.

I am running windows 7 home premium. I have an Nvidis GeForce 310M Version 8.16.11.8829

I can run FFXI with no problem if I don't use windower.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

I had the same problem on Vista, I ended up turning off UAC, and having Windower to "Run as Administrator", and that fixed it.

I checked and I already have UAC off.

I too am having this problem, but it could be the fact I am using x64 OS. I haven't been able to use windower at all. I too get the registry error though when trying to run from the GUI, I managed to get it to load POL but once it starts to load into FFXI it crashes.
