Temp Fix for Unresponsive Keys (Keyboard Issue)

Nitsuj already knows about this, but I thought I'd let people know how to fix the issue until he can fix it.


If you're having issues with certain keys not responding to you while using v4, you're in luck! Well, maybe... Assuming this actually fixes your problem, you're in luck! All you need to do is bring up the Device Manager (Windows 7 and Vista users just need to search for it in the Start menu. XP and other users can find it in the Control Panel. I believe it's under Administrative Tools.), find Human Interface Devices and expand it, then uninstall the Infrared Transceiver. It may have various names, but they should all have something about a Infrared Transceiver in the name. For example, mine is Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver. Unfortunately, you must uninstall this after every reboot. You may need to uninstall it again or stop the device update if you unplug or replug in any sort of device (such as mouse, keyboard, flash drive, etc). I hope this helps!
