As I recently went to dynamis I realized healing sucks. Well not the job of healing, but the idea of targeting people. So here I am trying to fix that.

As people are very protective of there accounts, and I would like to assure you that is clean of any malware. Here are the virus scan results, but feel free to scan for yourself as you should aways have yourself in the best interest.

Last update: 6/20/2010 - v2.0

TODO:
-handling of data better
-handling of status effects
-more scan sizes and options
-profiles

BUGS:
Give as much information as possible. We will work on solving them all in a timely fashion. On that note, if you close the debug window you will not be able to reopen the window without restarting the app. To aid in the process please supply the debug log.

Note:
I recently started working on this app with Juvenal. He has been kind enough to rewrite it in C#, and I am getting up to speed with the language to help build on the foundation we have going.

I've been trying to acquire the source to MsJans to update it, but haven't been successful.

Would you be willing to share the source for this? Mainly the UI. I'd love to help out and make this a legit MsJans replacement that many people want.

So far, good job though!

Yeah. That would definitely be an option. I am always willing to learn/work with someone. As mentioned it was mainly done in C, and I need to move in a more object-oriented direction to handle things better.

Hope you keep it going!
I didn't think about reading what I typed here. I'm tired and not sure if what I typed is clear or not!

What exactly does this program do? And could you post screenshots of it in action?

I have a screenshot on the website. Posted Image

It is an easy way to handle group/alliance healing. Soon enough it will be able -na's for debuffs.

Screenshot is a bit dated. I think that was a 1.15 release or so.

Im very impressed by the work you have been doing soo far. Still you have alot more to add before it can be a MSJans replaceable but still, good job.

Approved!

So does it have a list of everyone in alliance with a little button next to their name? does it have their HP% or HP? or you have to look at game?

Yeah It should list the people in the party alliance with a buttons next to their bar/name.

I have the HP percent in data so that is a feature/option that I can work on later. I could use some basic math to find the maxHP and then show difference, etc

When I powerlevel my friends, which is often, one thing bothers me beyond anything else: Having to cycle the targetting around every member in a party I don't belong to to make sure they're not getting alarming amounts of damage. There's no simple and expedite way of doing it, and sometimes aggro ricochets around the group so fast, that by the time I realize someone's getting damage, and I heal them, they're already dead. Because of this, one of the things that I miss the most about MsJans is the ability to choose the people whose health the app would monitor, not only from among the members of party and alliance, but from those not in your party just standing around you.

I dream with having this ability made available to me again. Would it be possible to reproduce it in this app, which so much resembles MsJans? The ability to buff yourself and others (not only prot/shell, but also refresh, regen, haste, ss, blink, etc.) would be nice to.

Thanks very much for the good work, and thanks for your efforts so far.

Definitely. 1.3 was mainly a bug fix release. Once I get confirmation that the "alliance" scans work okay I will work in other types of scans.

As for the watching of an individual person (just like msjans). That will be included in a future release. I just need to figure out a method for it.

As for the buffs. I will see what I can do. I know the 5 buttons will become "settable" via your profile you setup.

Slightly off topic, but I found a old version of Msjans. I didn't realize how off my interface was from that app. I will rework the interface to have it a bit closer to what that one looked like.

I like this!

It would be great if you could also include buttons to perform other spells such as haste, refresh etc.

Yeah I included the wrong menu in the release. The config currently does nothing in that version posted.

With MsJans finally, irrevocably dead for me only yesterday, it looks like I'll be a regular user of this program now. A question: Do you have any plans for custom button arrangement/additions? I used to like to arrange my buttons regen/regen2/regen3/cure3/cure4/cure5/haste. I'd also like it if this program could be used for Dancer, MsJans's one major shortcoming. Either the addition of custom buttons, or simply the option to add Waltzes and Sambas would be fantastic. Looking forward to the development of this program!

EDIT: Tried using it today and since it has no "stay on top" function, it's unfortunately 100% unusable if you don't run dual monitors, which I don't on this machine... Looks like I'll have to put off using it until that gets added.
