OP updated with Version 2.0.2
This version should resolve the APPCRASH issue some were having.
Also this has the latest version of Tavik's helper DLL and my new wrapper for it.

As for other issues and feature request I will start working on those shortly.

OP updated with Version 2.0.3
1/26/2010

Changes:
  • Added White text with black background to the options for text display.
  • You can now change text color at any time during a run and it will maintain the current grid status.
  • Window position is now saved in the registry so that SalvageHelper loads in the same place it was on your screen when you closed it.
  • Color scheme is now saved in registry so that whatever text color option you had when the application closed it will use that when loading the next time.
  • New Party Member display option added. When selected from the menu this will add the current members of your party at the time when you clicked it. (up to 6 people atm I need to test with more) You need to resize the window to display the party members in the orientation you would like(stretch right for horizontal display, stretch down for vertical display.)

With the party display feature, remember you might be out of range when someone in party uses the cell and therefore you would not get the solid dot on the grid.
Since obtaining an item is displayed regardless of distance you will at least see the O and can assume they have used the cell.
Also if someone obtains a cell and puts it in bazaar that will still show on their grid.

Enjoy and keep the suggestions coming!

Mantis

What version where you running when you got that?
I found a problem in 2.0.1 that very well might have been the cause of that.

Edit: I have had 2.0.3 running in Whitegate with the zone check turned off so its reading every line of chat that comes across.
I've had it going for 3 hours now and CPU is hovering around 2% and memory around 16 Meg
Can you try again with 2.0.3 and let me know if you have the same results Mantis or anyone.

I had major bug, as you saw, in that.

Gald you enjoy it.

Everyone please continue to post ideas for features you would like to have included.
I think I have covered most all of the previous requests.

One item I am still working on is having the application detect which slots you have used cells for directly from memory.
This will allow you to start the program even after you have used some cells or restart the program if needed and have it populate the grid like it was watching all along.
The difficulty with this is I need some time in Salvage with cells to use after my team completes a run in order to analyze the memory and find out where this information is being stored.
So this might take some time.

Sorry to bug you Flan. But I was just wondering if you were planning on implementing an option to remove salvagehelper from the system program "alt-tab" pool. I tri-box salvage a lot and it adds three more programs to the list, so its alot of working tabbing through ><

If you could do this I would lub you longtime.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mantis

I just finished testing a new version that removes Salvage Helper from the Alt-Tab list.
I will upload it tonight when I get home from work.

I highly doubt this would affect it. But I do this mod on my Win7 installations to get the "classic" look in the app-tab pool.

http://blog.codefarm...-windows-7.html

I'll test and see, but like I said. I highly doubt that would affect it ;
