Motioninjoy has a newer beta release available. It adds support for emulating 360 wireless controllers so you can use the DS3/Sixaxis with XInput enabled games. I have not tried this feature simply because I don't care and FFXI is all I play and has no XInput support. However aside from this there are also some other new features available. One of which the DS3 Tool app now has a battery meter in the interface and the drivers also now seem to support Play n Charge functionality. Meaning you can connect via BT. Then while still connected plug the controller in via USB and have it charge. Where as before you had to disconnect from the BT to charge. This is much more convenient since you don't need to disconnect it does still send commands to the BT dongle allowing you to keep playing.

The only bug I have ran in to thus far is if you do choose to disconnect from the BT dongle then reconnect later it may not reconncet properly. The BT dongle will show a connection but the controller does not and does not function. Pressing the PS button again causes the controller to start looking again but still doesnt connect. How ever at this point if you attach the usb cable like you wanted to charge it suddenly starts functioning over BT once more.

Be warned though if you choose to use the newest beta. The developer mentions there is a chance of it causing BSOD's. I'm not sure if he means in general or simply when trying to use the 360 controller emu he's added. So your mileage may vary.

I use the newest beta the only time i've experienced BSOD is when I unplug and replug the controller. Only using via USB though.
