- All topics must include a direct URL to a download file that includes ALL required DLL's and other files. (Stuff like .NET framework of course doesn't have to be included).
- You may not link to another site that requires you to register in order to download software.
- You may not link to any site that relates to hacking or malicious botting type software. This is including but not limited to speed hacks, pos hacks, claim bots, fish bots, and etc.
- Your file must be hosted on a static host and not a free temporary-like web host like Rapid Share. If you do not have webhosting, please contacted me about free hosting for your application. FileFront is ok.
- You may not charge for ANY portion of your application. It must be completely free. Donations are fine.
- Your application may not provide features that harm another players experience. Like claim bots, but this can go for many other general features. ApRadar 2 has a temporary exclusion with the Radar feature until another map program or plugin surfaces.
- You're application may not be DRM'd of ANY type. This includes forced user authorization and lockdown of usage/limiting usage based on authorization. This is the similiar to charging for it.
This is to help the reliability and ease of retrieval of applications!
Sites like rapidshare are horrible, as files get purged and links no longer work. Lets keep them valid please
Due to request, FFACE site has been allowed to be linked to for development resources or DIRECT download links, however app's that use FFACE need to include the DLL with their application and update their release if the DLL needs updating. The FFACE site should only be linked when referencing information to help developers and such as an information source if possible, or if your app is an attachment on FFACE, in which you can give the direct link to the attachment on the site.
Including but not limited to current disallowed applications:
- FFXiApp
- XiClaim
- CraftMon
- NASA?
- ApRadar 3
- GearMod-X
