So a loadable version of Recast and SpellCast 2.30 are uploaded. Version numbers are still the same because the plugins were not recompiled, just repackaged, so please redownload them to make them work again.

However, since many apps use FFACE currently, the ban is placed on all future applications to the Windower community. I really hate to have to do this since FFACE is a base for many applications on this forums and the concept is great.... but their actions can not be tolerated.

From now on, any developer writing an application is not allowed to use FFACE as part of their application. I urge all developers to research into gathering the information they need themselves.

Also, I strongly urge any developers who use FFACE4 as part of their current approved program on our forums to work on updating it to not require FFACE.

These developers who constantly try to exploit the FFXI community just to make money off them will not be tolerated.

[NOTICE ABOUT CURRENT FFACE4 APPS]

These new changes to FFACE also apparently has some new code that can read information about your PLAYONLINE ACCOUNT, tracking you as a user of their software and wether you have donated or not. Using any FFACE4 based application may put you at risk if SE shut down FFACE and could get you banned.

I strongly urge users to discontinue FFACE4 based apps usage until they can be rewritten to not need FFACE.

The master server of the network had to go down for maintence last night and was expected to come back up 4 hrs ago... but it still is down.

I have no ETA on when the servers owner can get it back up, so in the meantime please connect to windower.net ie /server windower.net

Please open Windower/scripts/init.txt and replace the line "load Recast" with "//load Recast"

Also since the maints hits the server load high, ive moved the site to my server so its not overloading the previous host every maint. so theres a dns change currently going on, if your here your good!

ChatMon will be fixed this afternoon. its actually funny to why it isnt working but its extremely simple (SE's new spam filter is triggering my protection I put in to never filter a GM's text, and it thinks any message flagged as spam is a GM tell) so just gotta update that to handle the new spam value and golden.

I recently moved and got a new car (due to car accident) so settling into a new life (and in debt from moving/car yay)

But main time eater is TV >_> Been watching Farscape but just hit Season3, so when I finish season4 and the addiction is over I will then try to resume coding for windower and get windows 7 retail installed and fix 3.42 ready for that release.

Also you may of noticed the wiki had been acting up past few weeks.

Few weeks ago the server experienced a crash and some data got corrupted, apparently something dealing with forum skin.

Not sure exactly since forums work and only wiki was affected, but i fought with it many diff ways and 'hacked' it to work temporarily which was undone when I upgraded forum software.

For now, I broke the integration and restored original skin so wiki should function properly now.

I know the styles are not perfect yet, ie conrasting colors, but for now it works so give me time to get it perfected.

Please let me know if you experience any problems, as many core parts of the site were restructured.

This is a complete new rewrite of the forum software and brings many new features - i don't even know what all is new yet so have at it and explore!

Along with the new IP.Board, IP.Converge has been installed at http://login.windower.net

IP.Converge provides a single signon server for multiple applications.

Over the upcoming days, more upgrades to the site will be done so you will have 1 single login and more applications.

The downloads system will also be changed over to IP.Downloads, and the new version of IP.Tracker will be installed.

Keep watch as the site grows over the upcoming weeks

And a status update on my progress with the Windower Project, I recently got a new fulltime job, which has drastically cut my time combined with other RL activities.

I will try to get some coding done as I get time, but its hectic atm.
