For some reason I can't open the "Support Forums" on my main PC. It will open fine on my laptop though. When I try to open it on my main PC the connection times out. I have tried clearing cache/cookies and have restarted PC no luck yet. Any idea's to help me solve this issue?

    Thank You

Have you tried Flushing your dns ?

      Open CMD prompt and type

      ipconfig /flushdns

Just tried the /flushdns didnt\'t work, also tried disabling McAfee still no luck. No idea what could be causing it ; ; Can't figure out why I can log on my laptop with no problems but time out on my PC. Both connected to same internet, same network, same security. Only thing different is OS. Vista no good, WIndows 7 works fine. Any other ideas?

Ok I have also tried IE Explorer no luck. I can view on either browser everything except forums.windower.net the archives work fine, the main windower.net works fine also the wiki.windower and dev.windower work fine. I'm at a loss for figuring this out. Help! :(

Do you have different DNSs set for Vista?

Try "nslookup forums.windower.net". It will tell you the DNS server that's being used and the domain's IP that's being returned.

I think you may have forums.windower.net in your hosts files (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts), maybe as a temp fix when the forum changed IP before.

      Can you please check it?

You got it man. :D Thank you! I have no idea how this happened but it was in there, deleted it and site opens right up w/o a problem.
