i just kept it mote and names my rules/config include "mote-rules-include" like the xml reads and as far as the /includes/include all of my other xmls i copied from him work the same way and they run fine just this one said that error and also a pop up said "Invalid XPtr: includes/include[@name='BlmSchGeoElementalStaves']/*"
the include is just ElementalStaves, not BlmSchGeoElementalStaves from the looks of it.. try changing to that

You'll need to pastebin your spellcast xml that is giving issues.

Did you rename the config files? i.e. stripping the Mote part?
also in all of my includes they're in <includes><include> as well and i don't need to put /includes/include.. I simply do this
<xi:include href="include.xml" xpointer="//include[@name='MultisendRules']/*" />
Your first rule does this too
<xi:include href="Mote-Rules-Include.xml" xpointer="//include[@name='RunFirstUpdate']/*" /> <xi:include href="Mote-Rules-Include.xml" xpointer="/includes/include[@name='ReturnRules']/*" />
please change the rest of the xpointer = "..." to match the first, rather than the 2nd
