Custom Status Icons

Hello! Over the course of the past few months, I've been gradually making my own status icon sets, and decided that the dat is finished enough to share. As of right now, the only place I've hosted the file is at FFXIDats.com, though I am interested in it being hosted in somewhere more accessible (as that site requires registration to download).

To-Do List:

These are pretty cool, but how come nothing for utsusemi/blink?

Utsusemi was left as its default icon due to the fact that it is already unique. Plus, my brain isn't very good at reinventing something that it's so used to, since even now in 2015, I still blink tank.

Love these icons, great work.

My only two criticisms would be that the "stat-up" icon colors be switched around with "stat-down". Blue for up and red for down.

And that the Bar-status ailment icons look more like they should be the icons for those status ailments. My uncreative suggestion would be to add a "+" to it like XIView, or maybe a circle?

By the way, if you find yourself wanting to swap some of the icons around, like the stat up/downs in your case, use the FFXI Icon Change program to export/import the icon images as you see fit. I have this program available for download here:

Love the BLU Flux Capacitor! lol

These are quite a refreshing change.  Nice work.

If I might make one small suggestion:  Going with the chess pieces for PLD abilities, A rook can swap with a king piece in certain circumstances to protect the king.  With the cover icon you made, both pieces look like pawns,  having the forward piece to be a rook and the covered piece to be a king would be a small detail to add a lot of thought.  Just my $0.02
