Luacore keeps crashing when it loads on plugin load up.  I have to try logging in like 10 times before it loads and I can play.

the live version is the one you get from the download button on this page
            http://windower.net/
while the dev version is the one you have to get from the link below the download button (Development Build.) on the above page

if its the dev version it will also say it when you start windower (ware it updates its files) it will say Development Build in the window

In either case we will need a crash dump. There are two ways to get one. Either follow the instructions in this link or follow these instructions:

If you're on Windows Vista or newer, try the following:

            Start > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > Windows Error Reporting

Create a new key called "LocalDumps". If it already exists, don't bother.

Now run FFXI and wait for it to crash. A crash dump should appear in your %LocalAppData%/CrashDumps folder (usually Drive:/Users/YourUserName/AppData/Local/CrashDumps/).

Ok I can't install windows sdk, it keeps saying there's an error and can't install.  Also, I found the dump file, but I don't know how to open the dmp file.

Send it to us. Upload it somewhere. Dropbox or Google Drive will do, as will almost any file sharer.

Are you sure that's because of LuaCore? Can you try disabling all plugins and see if you can log in then?

To disable LuaCore, you have to start POL, then go to Windower/scripts/autoload/autoload.txt and remove everything inside that file.
