      Hi guys,

Started up FFXI after a long hiatus and POL crashes very soon after character enters the game world.  I can login no problem but once the character and the world starts rendering POL crashes soon thereafter

      Particulars:

      - Windows 7

      - Hook 4.3.2.1

      - Steam overlay is turned OFF

      - Tried this with both Steam running and not running in the background

      - I can run the game fine in Steam without Windower

      - I have a non-Steam version of FFXi installed on the machine as well (doesn't start, presumably because Steam did something to that install once I bought it on Steam)

The Windower flavor ran fine about 18 mos ago with the Steam version installed.

      Any help would be appreciated.

        Fixed this.

Looked in the Windows application crash log and found this:

Faulting application name: pol.exe, version: 1.18.13.0, time stamp: 0x4e3bcddc
Faulting module name: blinkmenot.DLL, version: 3.1.0.12, time stamp: 0x5600c232
        Exception code: 0xc0000005
        Fault offset: 0x0002112d
        Faulting process id: 0x19d4
        Faulting application start time: 0x01d32dcea80b316b
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FFXINA\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\pol.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower4\plugins\blinkmenot.DLL
        Report Id: 39ab0af3-99c2-11e7-8ade-5cf370747cef

        blinkmenot isn't even supported anymore.

renamed the DLL and it works fine now

It is curious that Windower uses the Steam install ahead of the normal one...
